(23 October 2018, Honolulu, Hawaii) As part of the month-long celebration of the Filipino American History Month, the Filipino Association of University Women (FAUW) in partnership with Farrington High School in Honolulu held a screening of the film “Unsurrendered 2: The Hunters ROTC Guerillas” on 23 October 2018 at the Farrington High School Auditorium.

Many students of Farrington High School are of Filipino descent.

More than 300 students watched the World War II documentary.

Consul Roberto T. Bernardo delivered a message on behalf of the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu. The film screening included a brief question and answer session with Mr. Miguel Guillermo, Executive Producer of the film; Mrs. Salome Villamarin-Calderon, 92 years old, a Hunters ROTC guerilla and US Congressional Gold Medal awardee; as well as family members of World War II veterans.
