(1 October 2018, Honolulu, Hawaii) - Fifty-three judges of the Philippine Judges Association (PJA) participated in the American Judges Association/ American Judges Foundation’s 58th Annual Educational Conference held in Kauai Island on 23-28 September 2018. The judges were from the different Regional Trial Courts (RTC) in the Philippines.

The PJA judges came to Kauai upon the invitation of Justice Robert J. Torres of the Supreme Court of Guam, who is the President-elect of the American Judges Association.

On 28 September 2018, eleven of the judges led by Judge Princess Ongkeko of RTC 91, Sta. Cruz, Laguna, paid a courtesy call on Consul General Jimeno at the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu. (END)
