(5 April 2018, Honolulu, Hawaii) - Consul General Joselito A. Jimeno called on United States Representative Colleen Hanabusa at the latter’s office in downtown Honolulu on 4 April 2018.

Rep. Hanabusa is a member of the House Armed Services Committee, the House Committee on Natural Resources, and the House Committee on Science, Space & Technology.

Consul General Jimeno thanked Rep. Hanabusa for the bills she sponsored relating to Filipino veterans, and her sponsorship of H.R. 4224, the House version of the “Sustainable Fishing Workforce Protection Act” co-sponsored by Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, and filed in the Senate by Senator Mazie Hirono, and co-sponsored by Sen. Brian Schatz.
