(6 February 2018, Honolulu, Hawaii) 2019Commodore Rommel Jason Galang (AFP), Commander of the Philippine Naval Forces West, Palawan paid a courtesy call on Philippine Consul General Joselito A. Jimeno on 06 February 2018 at the Philippine Consulate General Honolulu.

During the discussions, Commodore Galang briefed Consul General Jimeno about the role of the Naval Forces West with regard to Philippine maritime security and its importance in the region.

Also present during the courtesy call were Consul Roberto Bernardo and Col Joseph Archog, AFP Liaison to USPACOM.

Commodore Galang is in Hawaii for a 5 day study program by the Naval War College and he is hosted by the US Pacific Fleet. (END)
