(31 January 2020, Honolulu, Hawaii) – Philippine officials currently attending the Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCM) Course CCM 20-1 at the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (DKI-APCSS) called on Consul General Joselito A. Jimeno at the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu on 29 January 2020.  

The CCM 20-1 fellows include AFP Liaison Officer to the US INDOPACOM Col. Joseph P. Archog PAF, Ltc. Edwin L. Centillas PAF, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Command Center Head Milagros Y. Silvestre, MMDA Head Executive Assistant  Atty. Victor Pablo C. Trinidad and Mr. Saripada L. Pacasum of the Lanao del Sur Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.  

Also present at the call were Deputy Consul General Angelica C. Escalona and Assistant AFP Liaison Officer to the INDOPACOM Ltc. Vince James DG Bantilan.

The five-week CCM Course is intended for responders for man-made crises, natural disasters and humanitarian emergencies. It emphasizes critical thinking skills and practice as it explores the many aspects of preparedness and response. Course participants analyze problems, explore factors that shape effective crisis management and develop comprehensive strategies and approaches.

The CCM 20-1started on 23 January 2020 and will end on 26 February 2020. (END)
