10 May 2010. At 1:00 a.m., 10 May 2010 (7:00 PM, 10 May 2010, Manila time), Deputized COMELEC Officials of the Philippine Consulate General commenced the process of the counting of votes cast for the 2010  Philippine National Elections. Special Ballots Reception Group (SBRCG) Chairman Consul Lourdes Tabamo officially turned-over all the ballots received during the month-long postal voting and all necessary elections paraphernalia to Special Board of Election Inspectors (SBEI) Chairman, Consul General Leoncio R. Cardenas.  At the time of reporting (8:48 a.m. Honolulu local time), the SBEI continues counting the 532 votes cast in the State of Hawaii and American Samoa.
