The Philippine Consulate General Chorale participated in the Filipino Community’s annual celebration of the Philippine Heritage Month in Honolulu held at the Ala Moana Center Stage.  The Chorale sang the upbeat “The Best of Times” and the well-loved Visayan love song “Matudnila.” Deputy Consul General rendered a solo rendition of “One Voice” accompanied on the piano by Consul General Cardenas.

Other participating groups in the event included the Banda Kawayan, the Filipino Students Association at the Hawaii Pacific University and the Silangan singers.  The event was organized in coordination with Filcom Center’s President Emeritus Mr. Roland Casamina and Mr. Toy Arre.
