(8 May 2015, Honolulu, Hawaii) Los Angeles-based host and producer of Kababayan Today and famous Filipino actress Giselle “G” Tongi visited the Philippine Consulate General, Honolulu today as part of her show’s feature of the 23rd Annual Filipino Fiesta to be held on 9 May 2015 at the Kapiolani Park in Waikiki, Hawaii.

Kababayan Today with G Tongi, formerly Kababayan LA, is America’s longest-running and only locally-produced show for and about Filipinos. It airs weekdays at 4:00 pm on KSCI-TV/LA18 in Southern California, 3:30 pm on KIKU-TV in Hawaii and worldwide at www.LA18.tv/kababayantoday.

The special feature on the 23rd Filipino Fiesta will include an interview with Consul General Jamoralin and her upcoming projects and activities to promote and cultivate appreciation of Filipino culture and traditions among Filipino Americans and non-Filipinos in Hawaii. (END).
