13 May 2015 – Philippine Consul General Gina Jamoralin congratulated six Filipino graduates of the Advanced Security Cooperation (ASC) Course (ASC-15-1) held from April 02 to May 07 at the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (APCSS) in Honolulu. Consul General Jamoralin attended the graduation ceremonies held at the APCSS auditorium on May 07.
The Filipino graduates were Col. Leonidas L.Hidalgo, Commodore Aaron Reconquista, Ms. Minda Morante, from the Department of National Defense (DND); Police Supt. Royina Garma of the Philipine National Police (PNP); Lt. Col. Judith Dolot from Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and Dr. Renato de Castro of De La Salle University.
A total of 112 graduates coming from different countries including the Philippines participated in the five week-course. The ASC course is designed for mid-career and senior security practitioners from across the Asia-Pacific Region. APCSS is a US Department of Defense academic institute which opened in 1995 in Honolulu. END
