16 June 2015 - The Rotary Club of Kapolei in Honolulu announced that its “Book 4  Kids” project will donate 33,000 books to the schools in the Visayas as part of the Club’s continuing commitment since 2012 to provide free books to schools in the Philippines according to Mr. James Handsel, a Rotary Club official.

It has partnered with the Philippine Business for Social Progress Foundation (PBSP) which will take care of the distribution of books to both public and private schools focusing on those in need and those hit by Typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan.
