(29 June 2015) To boost tourism and economic activity in the Philippines, the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu, Hawaii and the Philippine Airlines Office in Honolulu launched the US$999 Visit the Philippines promo package on 26 June 2015 at the Consulate General. Guests include travel agents, members of Hawaii media, academe and the Filipino community.

The $999 promo includes a round trip international airfare from Honolulu to Manila, three days/2 nights stay at hotel in Manila, daily breakfast and one-way airport transfer, based on twin sharing, and traveling both ways. The amount is already inclusive of taxes and surcharges.

To be able to avail one’s self of the promo, the travel dates to the Philippines should be between the lean months of 1 September and 30 November 2015; and 16 January and 10 March 2016. Tickets should be purchased by 15 August 2015.
