To kickstart the year with the goal of conducting more mobile consular outreach programs for 2016 than in previous years, the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu held its first mobile consular services for 2016 in Kona, Hawaii, from 23 to 24 January 2016.

The consular team was able to provide a total of 150 consular services which include applications for renewal of passports, notarials, authentication of documents and dual citizenship during the two-day outreach program.

The activity was held in coordination with Ms. Jane Clement, President of the Kona Visayan Club, and with the support of the office of Hawaii Mayor, Billy Kenoi. (END).
