Consul General Jamoralin (rightmost) joins Hawaii officials and leaders of the Filipino community in the ground-breaking ceremony.
Philippine Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin attended the ceremonial ground-breaking of the Kaua’i Philippine Cultural Center (KPCC) at the County of Kaua’i, Hawaii on 29 March 2016. Present during the ceremony were State of Hawaii Governor David Ige, State Senate President Ron Kouchi, County of Kaua’i Mayor Bernard Carvalho, Jr., US House of Representative Tulsi Gabbard, State House Rep. Jimmy Tokioka, County Council Chair and members and officials from the different Filipino organizations in Kaua’i.
The Consul General also had the honor and opportunity to address the guests and reiterated the importance of camaraderie, perseverance and hardwork for attaining successful objectives for the benefit of all specially to the Filipino-American community in Kaua’i.
After the ceremony, Consul General Jamoralin briefed the Filipino community with regards to the upcoming Philippine overseas absentee voting. (END).
