Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin of the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu together with Major General Guillermo A. Molina, Jr. AFP Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans (J5) hosted a reception for select participants of Philippines-United States Mutual Defense Board-Security Engagement Board (MDB-SEB) Executive Committee (Execom) Meeting on 11 August 2016 at the Official Residence.

Major General Steven Rudder USMC, Director for Strategic Planning and Policy, and his wife Holly, were the Guests of Honor at the dinner reception. Attending the reception from the Philippine side were DFA Assistant Secretary for American Affairs Maria Andrelita Austria, BGen Arnold Andales, AJ6; AFP Spokesperson BGen Restituto Padilla, CSupt Arnold Gunnacao, Director for Plans, PNP; BGen Arnulfo Rafanan, AJ4, Director Ma. Corina Reyes, DFA, and other personnel from the DFA and the Philippine Consulate.

Joining the US delegation were Colonel Scott Burnside, Chief, Southeast Asia Divison, PACOM; Colonel Ernest Lee, Chief, JUSMAG Philippines; LtColonel Dick Steele, JUSMAG Philippines Operations, and Mr. Mark Jackson, Foreign Policy Advisor, PACOM.

The MDB-SEB Execom Meeting, conducted in Honolulu, Hawaii from 11 to 13 August was co-chaired by the staffs in-charge of plans of both the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the PACOM. It was held prior to the annual meeting of the MDB and SEB in the Philippines which will be co-chaired by the AFP’s Chief of Staff and the Commander of the PACOM. (END).
