Pursuant to its goal of making its consular services more accessible and convenient to Filipinos in Hawaii through conducting more mobile consular outreach programs for 2016 than in previous years, the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu held a mobile consular services in Lihue, Kauai, the second for this year, from 24 to 25 September 2016.
The consular team was able to provide a total of 131 consular services which include applications for renewal of passports, notarials, authentication of documents, civil registration and dual citizenship during the two-day outreach program.
The activity was held in coordination with Mr. Jimmy Iloreta, President-elect of the United Filipino Council of Hawaii, the statewide umbrella organization of all Filipino American organizations in Hawaii, and Ms. Charlmaine Bulosan, President of the Kauai Filipino Community Council. (END).
