On the occasion of the Memorial Day held at the National Memorial Cemetery, the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu joined around 3,000 people who attended the Memorial Day commemoration event jointly organized by the offices of the Mayor of Honolulu and Governor of Hawaii on May 29. Philippine Consul General Gina Jamoralin accompanied by Colonel Rolando Orengo, Philippine Army and Assistant AFP Liaison Officer to USPACOM, offered a wreath on behalf of the Philippines as one of the United States’ security treaty allies.
