For the second time this year, a consular team of eight (8) members from the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu, Hawaii visited Maui, Hawaii on 29 to 30 July 2017 to provide consular services to Filipino-Americans on the island.

The consular team, led by Consul Joyleen E. Santos, provided a total of 242 consular services which includes passport, civil registry, notarial and authentication, and dual citizenship services for Filipino- Americans on the island.

The Consulate was also able to register a record-breaking total of 156 new overseas voters during the one-and-a-half-day activity.

The outreach activity was held in coordination with the Maui County’s Immigration Services Division, Department of Housing and Human Services, which provided logistic and manpower assistance to the team. (END)
