The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu conducted a mobile consular outreach in Hilo from November 4-5, 2017 at the Aupuni Center in Hilo, Hawaii. The team was able to process 133 passport applications, 19 applications for dual citizenship, seven (7) reports of vital events, as well as notarized 10 documents during the one and half-day event.
As part of its continuing efforts to increase voter registration, the team also registered 103 overseas voter applicants during the outreach.
The mobile consular outreach was made possible through the collaboration and support of the Immigration Office of the County of Hilo and volunteers from the Filipino community. END.
