Outgoing Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin made her farewell calls on Hawaii State Legislators on January 4, 2018 before she assumes her post as incoming Consul General of the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago on February 1, 2018.
Consul Jamoralin called on Senate President Ronald Kouchi, State Representative Joseph Souki, and Hawaii State Representative John Mizuno.
Among the topics Consul General Jamoralin discussed are the continuing promotion of business and investment opportunities in the Philippines, and proposed sister province agreement between Hawaii and Aklan Province.
