19 August 2021 – Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Vice Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Erickson R. Gloria PAF called on Consul General Joselito A. Jimeno at the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu on 16 August 2021.
Lieutenant General Gloria attended the 2021 Chiefs of Defense (CHOD) Conference which was hosted by the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) on 16-18 August 2021. The conference provides a venue for Pacific Chiefs of Defense and U.S. military leaders to address emerging challenges and security matters and increase regional and global cooperation.
The AFP Vice Chief of Staff was accompanied by Major General Edgardo Y. De Leon PA, Major General Alex DC Luna PA, Brigadier General Jeffrey C. Hechanova PAF, 1Lt Gerald B. Resuello PAF, FCMS Aladin S. Dacayanan PA and MSg James A. Doctolero PA.
Also present at the call were Deputy Consul General Angelica C. Escalona, Vice Consul Andrea Christina Q. Caymo, AFP Liason Officer to the INDOPACOM Captain Aldrin B. Doctor and Assistant Liaison Officer Colonel Vince DG Bantilan from the Philippine Consulate as well as Colonel Amado V. Dela Paz, Philippine Defense and Armed Forces Attaché to the U.S. (END)
