PRESS RELEASE NO. 02-2022

20 January 2022, Honolulu – Consul General Emil Fernandez received Mr. Brad Kitsu, Director of International Relations of the Honolulu City Council on 13 January 2022 at the Philippine Consulate General for a courtesy call.  The call served as an opportunity to establish connections and discuss areas of collaboration between the Consulate and the Honolulu City Council. 

Consul General Fernandez and Mr. Kitsu, who is also of Filipino descent, agreed to pursue initiatives to further strengthen Philippines-Honolulu ties, particularly through sister-city goodwill exchanges and cultural activities.  END.
