9 April 2022 - Consul General Emil Fernandez leads the offering of a wreath at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl in Honolulu. He is joined by Consul Grace Bulos, Vice Consul Andrea Christina Caymo-Kauhanen, Protocol Officer Joel Bulos, Armed Forces of the Philippines Liaison Officer Captain Aldrin Doctor, Colonel Vince Bantilan, and their dependents.

Araw ng Kagitingan is celebrated yearly on April 9 to commemorate the fall of Bataan and the heroism of Filipino soldiers who fought to keep the Philippines free from foreign occupation in World War II. (END)
