27 APRIL 2022 – Consul General Emil Fernandez met on April 26, 2022 with Admiral Sam Paparo, Commander of the United States Pacific Fleet (USPACFLT), at the Naval Station Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. The two exchanged views on developments in the Indo-Pacific and Philippine-US defense ties, among other topics. Adm. Paparo is a US Navy four-star admiral, who assumed his current position as USPACFLT’s 64th commander in May 2021. (END)
