24 June 2022 - Major General Charlton Sean Gaerlan (2nd from right), Commander of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Education, Training & Doctrine Command (AFPETDC) and Commodore Donn Anthony Miraflor (rightmost) of the J8 Directorate of the AFP, paid a courtesy call on Philippine Consul General Emil Fernandez (2nd from left) yesterday. They were accompanied by the AFP Liaison Officer to US INDOPACOM, Captain Aldrin Doctor (leftmost).
Major General Gaerlan and Commodore Miraflor are in Hawaii to attend the AFP-US INDOPACOM Balikatan 38-2023 Concept Development Conference and Training Objectives workshop at the headquarters of the Marine Forces Pacific at Camp H.M. Smith in Honolulu. The workshop is an annual activity to discuss in a strategic and comprehensive manner issues and concerns of mutual interest concerning the execution of next year’s Balikatan exercises. (END)
