Presidential Proclamation No. 316 (2017) declared September as Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANAMo). The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu joins the Filipino nation in the month-long celebration of #MANAMo2022 which seeks to raise archipelagic awareness and consciousness among overseas and regional Filipino communities.
This year’s theme is “Our Seas, Our Livelihood, Our Life Source: A Whole-of-Nation Approach Towards Raising Maritime and Ocean Awareness”.
